GREENSBORO, NC -- Police say three people died in three separate shootings in Greensboro on Monday.
The First Shooting
The first shooting happened Monday morning near the corner of Freeman Mill Road and Florida Street.
Officers arrived shortly before 11 a.m. after a shots fired call. Police found one person with a gunshot wound. EMS pronounced that person dead on scene.
The Second Shooting
Greensboro Police are also investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another in the hospital.
Police responded to a shots fired call in the 900 Block of East Cone Blvd just after 3:30 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they found two people had been shot. One died at the scene. Emergency crews took the second victim to a local hospital in critical condition.
The Third Shooting
Police identified a victim of another shooting that happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday in Greensboro.
Officers responded to a shots fired call on Sumner Ridge Lane and found Michael Jaytuan Ingram with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Police say he died the next day.
Police haven't released suspect information in any of these cases. Investigators haven't said if the shootings are related.
