GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two people were stabbed outside of Arigato Japanese Steak & Seafood House on Holden Road in Greensboro Sunday evening, police say.
The stabbing happened in the parking lot, just before 5 p.m. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Officers arrested and charged Dewayne Kwame Foster Harper and Daisha Tarae Foster Louis both with assault with a deadly weapon.
This investigation is ongoing.
The general manager of the restaurant posted a message about the incident on social media.
"Dear Valued Customers,
Many of you are aware of an unfortunate altercation that occurred at our Greensboro location. The incident did indeed occur in our parking lot.
The well-being of our guests and staff is our highest priority. In response to this event, I and the managers are actively collaborating with the City of Greensboro. As a proactive step, we are arranging for an off-duty police presence at our restaurant. This measure is part of our commitment to maintain a secure and family-friendly environment.
We take pride in being a space where families and friends can gather and feel safe. We are dedicated to upholding these values and will continue to do everything in our power to ensure a secure dining experience for all.
