LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A child turned himself in on Monday evening after opening fire on employees at a Little Rock Burger King.

Around 7 p.m., officers responded to the Burger King at 5900 Dreher Lane for a disturbance with a weapon call.

Employees told police that the suspect, later identified as a 12-year-old boy, told them to give him the money in the register. They all thought he was joking until the boy pulled out a handgun.

Employees then ran to the back of the store and the suspect started shooting towards them. He then ran out the back door while still shooting.
