YADKIN COUNTY, NC (WFMY) – The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is investigating after a deadly deputy-involved shooting in Yadkin County.
The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office said on Wednesday they received a domestic disturbance call at a house on Laura Lynn Drive in Jonesville just after 5 p.m.
Deputies were met with a gun according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies shot the person with the gun. The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office has placed two deputies involved on administrative leave pending the conclusion of the investigation.
