GREENSBORO, N.C. — Love is in the air this independence day! As three couples are set to tie the knot at the Fun Fourth Freedom Festival happening later today.

The newlyweds will exchange their vows not only in front of their friends and family but thousands of people visiting the festival. WFMY News 2's Team caught up with one of the couples-Ross and Alexandria Strobert.

The Stroberts are both audio engineers and met at an artist showcase where they both were performing.

The cute couple also had their first date and started dating four years ago on this very day the fourth of July.

Fiancée Ross Strobert found out about the Fun Fourth Festival via Instagram and decided to apply for the "I Do" ceremony.

"I proposed to her in Miami we were on a boat, and I kid you not a week after I was just stressing about now, she said yes and how are we going to get this done and then I got a call from them that we won!" said Strobert.

Strobert says the festival is taking a big stress off of their shoulders in terms of wedding costs. The couple is being provided the venue, a free cake plus services for the bride like hair and makeup.

Strobert and his wife are set to be the first couple in the line up to tie the knot on the red, white, and say "I Do" stage at the Fun Fourth Freedom Festival at 1:30 pm this afternoon.
