CHIMNEY ROCK, NC - A retaining wall at the top parking lot of Chimney Rock collapsed Monday night, causing a section of Chimney Rock State Park to close.
A release from the park says the road below was littered with debris and crews are working to clear the road. The Department of Transportation and contractors are working to assess the damage.
