After three successful years of having the National Folk Festival right in our backyard, it's time to continue the celebration this September 7-9 at the North Carolina Folk Festival.
NC Folk Festival: These Artists Are From The Land Of The Pines
Downtown Greensboro is set to be rich with North Carolina culture, music, art, food, and more this fall! The event is free admission and fun for the whole family.
Nothing's finer than being in Carolina, so we're making sure you're NC Folk Festival-ready with this guide.
Hours of operation
- Friday, September 7, 2018: 6-10 p.m.
- Saturday, September 8, 2018: noon-10 p.m.
- Sunday, September 9, 2018: noon-6:30 p.m.
Where to park
Three parking decks will be open for a flat rate of $10 per day. Parking is first-come, first-served.
- Bellemeade Street Deck (220 N. Greene St.) can be accessed by traffic heading south on Greene Street.
- Greene Street Deck (211 S. Greene St.) can be accessed by traffic heading both east and west on Washington Street.
- Church Street Deck (215 N. Church St.) can be accessed by traffic heading both north and south on Church Street.
Music will be everywhere
NC Folk Festival features dozens of artists and musicians on multiple stages, and many artists are still signing up to perform.

Some stages will have folding seats available at first-come, first-served basis. You can also bring your own portable chair to guarantee you've got your own spot!

How to eat your way through the NC Folk Festival
