WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Drone deliveries start in Winston-Salem!
Drone Express will pick up and drop off groceries and drop it off to homes in a five-mile radius. The company will do a soft launch over the weekend before expanding next week.
Drone Express is a pioneer in autonomous drone delivery technology. The company is proud to celebrate the successful launch of its operations which officially began Sept. 13. This historic moment marked the unveiling of Drone Express' new marketplace and mobile application, bringing residents a faster, eco-friendly way to receive their everyday essentials.
The grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Greater Winston-Salem, a live drone delivery demonstration, and a celebration with local officials, local law enforcement, community partners, and the Drone Express team.
