Triad residents share photos of their Debby damage

We asked our followers on social media what kind of damage they are dealing with. Many shared pictures of fallen trees and debris across their properties.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Tropical Storm Debby left a mess across the Piedmont Triad. Now, residents across the area are picking up the pieces from the storm.

We asked our followers on social media what kind of damage they are dealing with. Many shared pictures of fallen trees and debris across their properties. Here's a look at some of the photos. 

John Milton shared this photo of a tree on his home in Jamestown. You can see it was completely uprooted and fell on the roof.

Mark Ballard lives in Thomasville where his basement was completely flooded. He said their sub-pump got stopped up. The water is about 3.5 feet deep.

The Elmore family in Randleman is cutting down a huge tree that crashed onto their home. Their car also had damage. 

“The back window of the car is gone. We couldn’t even see the car. You couldn’t even see the driveway. It’s a huge tree," said the father.

The Elmores are picking up the pieces after Tropical Storm Debby toppled a huge tree onto their home in Randleman.
