GREENSBORO, N.C. — It's time for the 30th Human Race 5k!
This year, there are several new aspects to the race! It's in a new location, features food trucks, and will involve an on-site community service component!
The Human Race is not your average fundraising 5k! It allows anyone, of any ability, to raise money for any organization. The unique, inclusive event has been around since 1994. People can run, walk, skate, skateboard, push strollers or wheelchairs, and even bring their pets to be part of the fun! Nonprofits register online, and individuals, businesses, and organizations sign up to raise money and participate in the race. It's as simple as that!

New for this year, service projects will be integrated into the Human Race. Event attendees will have the opportunity to actively participate in service initiatives, furthering their mission to strengthen the community and make a lasting impact.
This year's race is happening at Greensboro's Country Park on Saturday, April 20. It starts at 9:00 a.m. and will feature additional activities like a community village, a children’s area, a pet zone for our furry friends, a commemorative photo booth, and local food trucks.
Over the past three decades, The Volunteer Center of the Triad has been the organizer behind The Human Race, raising over $5 million for local nonprofits.
