GREENSBORO, N.C. — High School students from across the nation are headed to Greensboro this week!
The UNCG School of Music and University Bands is getting ready for the 30th Annual Carolina Band Festival and Conductors Conference.
Each year, the festival welcomes nearly 200 high school musicians and 50 music educators to the area to join nationally and internationally renowned guest clinicians and UNCG music faculty for rehearsals, master classes, clinics, and concerts
Students from every state are able to apply. Last year the students from NC, SC, TN, VA & GA were primarily featured. You can go hear these talented musicians perform this weekend for free!
The Carolina Band Festival Honor Bands is this Saturday, February 16, 2019, at UNCG starting at 2 p.m.
It's at the UNCG Auditorium located at 408 Tate Street in Greensboro.
