2. IT’S MAGIC!
Internationally renowned illusionists, Hawley Magic will perform their Las Vegas style illusion show at the Carolina Theatre in Greensboro. The exciting show includes one-of-a-kind grand illusions, close up magic, Houdini inspired escapes and lots more! Tickets are $30 for Adults and $20 for Children (12 and under). The show is March 9 at 7:00 p.m. The Carolina Theatre is located at 310 South Greene Street in Greensboro.

3. POETRY CAFÉ
Make a rhyme and get on the mic! The Poetry Café’ is open for mic night this weekend! On Saturday, enjoy poetry from a variety of performers in the community. Artists come to the stage with poetry, songs, monologs, dances, raps and more! Tickets are $15 per ticket. Poetry Café is open Saturday, March 9 at 9:00 p.m. at Triad Stage located at 232 South Elm Street in Greensboro.

4. HISTORY COMES TO LIFE
Women’s history will come to life this weekend as costumed interpreters portray historic Greensboro women. Women portrayed in the museum include Josephine Boyd, Nancy Mangum, and Frances Jones Bonner among others. The program is free and great for all ages. It takes place Saturday, March 9 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Greensboro History Museum located at 130 Summit Avenue in Greensboro.

5. PASSPORT TO ENTERTAINMENT
Music lovers this one is for you! High Point Theatre’s Passport To Entertainment will have you dancing in your seat. On Friday, March 8 at 8:00 p.m. Latino songstress Gina Chavez will take the stage. Then on Sunday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. The Queen’s Cartoonists will bring zany music of cartoons to life – from Looney Tunes and Classic Disney to The Simpsons and The Muppets.
