1,380 Rooms To Go dressers have been recalled

They are unstable and could trap and injure children who try to climb them.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — BFG North Carolina is recalling 1,380 dressers sold at Rooms To Go that pose a danger to young children. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission determined that The River Street Five-Drawer Chests bureau is unstable and could trap and injure a child who climbs it. 

The dresser was sold at Rooms To Go stores throughout South Carolina and was available online between February 2019 and October 2021. 

If you purchased this dresser, you can contact Rooms To Go to receive a full refund or a free in-home repair service that tethers the bureau to the wall. You may also receive a call from Rooms To Go as they are reaching out to all known owners.
