The HAECOishiring.com invitational returns to Greensboro and yes... they are hiring

After a 1-year hiatus the HAECOishiring.com Invitational tournament is back at the Greensboro Coliseum and they're looking for local workers.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — It's a Triad holiday tradition, for the past 50 years, HAECO holds one of the premier high school basketball tournaments in the area, the week after Christmas.

Last year, like many things, the tournament was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, however this year it's back with a new name and new mission.

The Haecoishiring.com invitational tournament is back in Greensboro this year, eight local high school teams are competing this week, but this year's tournament is about more than just basketball.

Today we learned from HAECO's talent acquisition manager, Clarissa Carl about how HAECO is helping students in life after school.

"We're hiring for HAECO airframe services, which includes our aircraft mechanic positions, A&P mechanics, mechanic helpers, as well as interior mechanics. We also have a partnership with GTCC where we're hiring entry-level mechanics as well."
