GREENSBORO, N.C. — CEOs are high earners, but exactly how much more do they take home than the company's median employee?
To find out, Triad Business Journal analyzed SEC filings to determine CEO-to-median employee pay ratios for the most recent fiscal year.
Large publicly traded companies are required to disclose CEO-to-median worker compensation ratios to comply with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010.
Eleven Triad-based public companies disclosed the ratio, including VF Corp., which moved its headquarters from Greensboro to Denver, Colorado, effective May 22, 2019.
