GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two national retail stores have closed up shop at the Friendly Center in Greensboro.
A center spokesperson told us J. Crew and Eddie Bauer closed within the last week.
It's not clear why they closed.
Sarah Kotelnicki, marketing director of Friendly Center and Winston-Salem's Hanes Mall for owner CBL and Associates Properties, said CBL had no comment on the stores' decision.
Those spaces already have new tenants ready to move in.
Aerie, a lingerie store will move into the Eddie Bauer spot next to the Banana Republic.
Dry Goods, a women's clothing store will replace J. Crew next to Madewell.
A third store, Versona, which is a women's fashion boutique will move in next to AT&T.
They should all be open in the next couple of months.
