What do SAS, UNC Health Care, and Trader Joe’s all have in common? According to a recently published ranking, it’s happy employees.
The top of North Carolina’s list features some of the area giants you’d expect — SAS, Duke Energy, and Cisco Systems are the state’s top three — but also some unexpected workplaces such as Earth Fare, a health-conscious grocer, and The Biltmore Company, which operates the Biltmore estate in Asheville.
Rankings were determined by how well employees liked their place of work. A total of 67 North Carolina employers made the list.
