If you're hungry or just need to grab a few quick things on Christmas, you've got a few options. Here's a list of what's open.

Restaurants
Denny's – Christmas has been one of Denny's busiest days for years, according to the company. In 2016, it served nearly 1.5 million guests on Christmas Day alone.
IHOP – Most IHOP locations will be open on Christmas.
Waffle House – Waffle House is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Panda Express – Some Panda Express locations will be open on Christmas Day. Be sure to call ahead to see if your local spot is open. The Greensboro location (4505 W. Wendover Ave.) is open from noon to 8 p.m.
McDonald's – Some locations will be open, but that will vary by franchise, as will the Christmas and Christmas Eve hours.
Starbucks – Some Starbucks locations will be open to offer up your caffeine boost to start the day.
Boston Market - Some locations are open Tuesday only for catering orders.
Burger King - Select locations will be open on Christmas Day.
Checker's - Most open regular hours.
Golden Corral - Most locations will be open.
McCormick’s and Schmick’s - The restaurant recommends making reservations.
TGI Fridays - Some locations will be open special hours, which vary.
Ruth's Chris Steak House - 800 Green Valley Road, Suite 100, Greensboro - Open from noon to 8 p.m. Call ahead for a reservation.
Golden Wok - 1216 Bridford Parkway in Greensboro. Open from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Katharine Brasserie & Bar - 401 North Main Street, Winston-Salem - Offering a Christmas brunch buffet ($38 for adults) from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. You can call to make a reservation at (336) 761-0203. Click here to see the menu for Christmas day.

Fursty's Restaurant, 1409 Freeway Drive, Reidsville - Open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Jake's Billiards, 1712 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro - Open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Retail Stores
Family Dollar - Most locations are open. Check with your local store.
CVS Pharmacy - Most stores are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., but will vary from store to store. Check with your local pharmacy. The 24-hour locations on Cornwallis Drive and Wendover Avenue in Greensboro are open normal hours.
Walgreens - Most locations are open. Check with your local store.
Sheetz - The gas station and convenience store will be open and serving free coffee to customers on Christmas and New Year's Day.
7-Eleven: Most locations open 24 hours.
Speedway: Hours vary.
