BURLINGTON, N.C. — A popular hot dog spot in the Triad is closing one of its locations, three months after opening.
Zack's Hot Dogs announced on Facebook it will close its restaurant located at Holly Hill Mall in Burlington on Friday.
"We at Zack's appreciate the continuing support of our customers and the community at large and look forward to seeing you at our Garden Road and Original Downtown Burlington locations," Zack's Hot Dogs said in the post.
The Holly Hill Mall restaurant opened in late November. At the time, Zack's Hot Dogs said a long-term lease was planned at the mall.
The downtown Burlington location and the Garden Road location are still open.
The Holly Hill Mall owner said a new hot dog restaurant from out of town will move in as soon as Zack's moves out. The name of the new restaurant will be announced at a later date.
