GREENSBORO, N.C. — A new restaurant chain is about to bring some heat to the Triad.
According to Triad Business Journal, Hangry Joe's — which is known for serving Nashville hot chicken — will open three Triad locations in the near future, including two spots in Greensboro.
According to Hangry Joe's website, the Greensboro locations will be at 1212 Bridford Parkway — in the same shopping center as the Target — and at 2180 Lawndale Drive, in the shopping center that includes Hops, Taco Mama and Elizabeth's.
A third Triad location is expected to open in High Point on 1915 N Main Street, between Fisher Avenue and Idol Street.
The Triad Business Journal said that there are plans for Hangry Joe's to expand into Burlington and Mebane, as well.
Hangry Joe's is known for putting a twist on the normal Nashville hot fare. The chain focuses on chicken sandwiches but also serves wings, tenders/nuggets, loaded fries/mac-cheese and salads.
