Body Language Expert Blanca Cobb shares ways to improve your productivity

NORTH CAROLINA, USA — Feeling swamped? Drowning in to-do lists? Well, you're not alone! Today is World Productivity Day, and let's be honest, we could all use a little help getting things done. So, we're ditching the overwhelm and diving into how to be a productivity powerhouse.

Being productive isn't just about work. It's about feeling in control of your time and achieving your goals. When you're productive, you have more energy for the things you love, less stress, and a greater sense of accomplishment.

There are two common myths about productivity. Myth number one: being busy is the same as being productive. Just because you're constantly moving doesn't mean you're getting things done. Myth number two: Multitasking is key. Our brains work better when we focus on one task at a time.

There are a few reasons you might feel busy but never accomplished. One is a lack of clear goals. If you don't know what you're working towards, it's hard to measure progress. Another culprit is distractions. Our phones, social media, can all be huge time sucks.

Here are some tips to be more productive. Start by setting SMART goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

Then, prioritize your tasks and tackle the most important ones first. Schedule breaks to avoid burnout and limit distractions while you work. Finally, don't be afraid to say no.
