GREENSBORO, N.C. — A historic home in Greensboro's Fisher Park is now on the market.
301 Fisher Park Circle also known as The Julian Price House is listed for $5.25 million on Zillow.
The Julian Price House posted to social media saying "A new chapter begins for this magnificent estate we've called home for the past 8 years. The Julian Price House."
"Every part of craftsmanship with this home is just timeless. It has known many eras, its known abuse. Eric and Mike have brought this back to beyond what anybody would have ever dreamed it could be again," Kay T. Chesnutt, a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Yost & Little Realty, said.
The listing says the home, built in 1929, has eight beds and eight baths sitting at 8,616 square feet.
The home was designed for a prominent businessman in Greensboro. Over decades, the house saw many different owners before eventually landing in the hands of an interior designer.
"She was a fine decorator and had lots of. She opened it for the show house, she opened it for entertaining, but then it kind of went into disrepair," Chesnutt said.
Under her ownership, the inside of the house was filled with stuff while the outside became hidden by trees and weeds.
The 1.62-acre lot fell into foreclosure-- that's when the current owners Michael and Eric Fuko-Rizzo bought it.
At the time the former owner had no plans to leave. Many may remember, the home was once featured on an episode of 'Hoarders' on A&E.
"There's not an inch that has not been touched to either bring it back or replace it as it was, or to find out the history of how it was and try to replicate," Chesnutt said.
The Fuko-Rizzo's restored the home and turned the property into a bed and breakfast and event center.
First listed on Friday, Chesnutt says there are plenty of potential buyers.
"They've put so much time, energy, money, sweat equity in this and you want somebody to love this and take it onto its next stage," Chesnutt said.
The 1.62-acre lot is listed by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Yost & Little Realty.
According to the county's website, the current property owner is E&V PROPERTIES LLC.
