OAK RIDGE, N.C. — How cute is this?
A mama duck has made a nest under an Oak Ridge playground structure!
She decided the perfect place was under the green merry-go-round on the west side of the Town Park playground.
The Town of Oak Ridge has roped off the section of the playground with a "Do Not Enter" sign to keep mama and eggs safe.
Residents are encouraged to observe from afar but not to go near the merry-go-round or disturb the nest.
The town also asked guests not to touch or feed the ducks.
Mama Duck is expected to nest and incubate her eggs for about 30 days.
