HIGH POINT, N.C. — A High Point 911 operator who's helped countless people on the other end of the line is now in need of the support of her community.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, High Point 911 officials said one of their own, 27-year-old Sarah Tibbetts, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
They're asking the community for prayers as Tibbetts begins her journey in fighting this disease.
The post reads in part, “Sarah is truly one of THE most amazing people that we all know and love! With a smile that never seems to go away, no matter how bad things get, she always remains a very spirited and energetic person who is full of life! Sarah is an amazing person, an amazing friend and someone that we all love!”
