GREENSBORO, N.C. — Family and friends gathered at Cagney's Saturday to celebrate the 100th birthday of a Greensboro man.
World War II veteran Elmar Garrett said the journey to 100 has been, "So far, so good."
While he doesn't have a golden rule for making it to the century mark, he's hoping to make another run.
"I don't think I'll make another 100 years, but I'm working on it," Garrett said.
