GREENSBORO, N.C. — It's the season for giving thanks and two former patients of the Cone Health Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital gave a special gift to the staff.
Ron and Kari Gaffe worked alongside the Sedgefield Country Club to raise funds and organized a Thanksgiving meal for the cancer center staff.
250 meals were given out.
This is the fourth year that the event was held.
