FRANKLINVILLE, N.C. — It’s been an eventful two years for parents Aberli and Hank Spear of Franklinville, NC.
“Well, we’re constantly on the move,” Aberli said. “It’s a constant movement. It hasn’t stopped since she was born.”
The couple is talking about their daughter Judah Grace. Thursday, she turns two.
WFMY News 2 first interviewed the family when Judah was born on Feb. 22, 2022, at 2:22 a.m. in delivery room 2 at Alamance Regional Hospital.
“She’s bright, bubbly, she’s smart,” Aberli said. “Her favorite thing to do right now is color and drawing. She loves to run around and sing.”
It might be safe to say this family's lucky number is 2 and not just because of Judah's unique birthday.
Judah is now a big sister...to her twin brothers! The Spears welcomed twin boys into the world in October 2023. Their names are David Henry Spear and Gideon Otto Spear.
“With her birthday and the twos and the twins being born, yeah, we haven’t stopped seeing twos,” Aberli said.
Aberli said the number is now a reminder to never lose hope. The mom of three never thought she'd be able to have children after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2014.
“Nothing is ever set in stone,” Aberli Spear said. “Nothing is impossible. Sometimes the curveballs life throws at you are hard and fast, but it’s worth it.”
The family plans to celebrate Judah’s birthday with a small group of family and friends.
