GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Every year, many restaurants offer free food and deals to veterans and active-duty military members on Veterans Day to pay it forward as a way of saying, "Thank you for your service."
The majority of places will require a Military ID, proof of service, or a Military Advantage ID number.
There is a slew of places offering discounts on Saturday, Nov. 11. Those that will offer discounts on various days will be noted as needed.
Vets get a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% all-beef hot dog in-store and via delivery through the 7NOW app.
A free meal when dining in from a special menu on Nov. 11, military guests will receive a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for dine-in, To Go, or delivery within a three-week redemption window.
Veterans and active-duty service members get a free Big Daddy’s All-American Burger and side from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 11.
Active-duty service members and veterans get a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage.
Veterans get a free medium fresh-brewed hot or iced coffee with their breakfast order.
Veterans and active-duty service members get a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for dine-in only.
Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a soft beverage.
A free meal at all locations.
A free meal from a select menu. For dine-in only.
Veterans get a free personal 1-topping pizza with valid military ID or proof of military service. Not available for delivery.
Active and retired military personnel get a free adult buffet. The offer is valid for dine-in only and it does not include a drink.
Veterans and active-duty service members get a free medium coffee all day at every location that serves coffee.
Veterans and active-duty military get a free sandwich (excluding brisket), one side, and a drink.
Denny's offers a complimentary Grand Slam to all active, non-active, and retired military personnel. The offer is valid for dine-in only at participating locations from 5 a.m. to noon
Veterans get a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake in-store or online.
Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut of their choice at participating locations. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed using On-the-Go Mobile Ordering through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.
Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night on Nov. 13 from 5 p.m. to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.
A free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu with the purchase of a beverage at participating locations for dine-in only.
Veterans and active-duty military get free Red, White, & blueberry Pancakes at participating locations for dine-in only.
Veterans and active-duty military get a free 6-pack of Classic cookies with any in-store purchase all day.
Veterans get a free coffee and doughnut at participating locations.
Vets can get a free meal with a valid ID from a special menu at participating locations or dine-in only from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Mom's Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti.
Veterans and active-duty military members get a free entrée (up to a $16 value) for dine-in only.
Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal for dine-in only at participating locations.
Veterans, active-duty service members, and spouses get a free Bloomin' Onion with any Coca-Cola beverage for dine-in.
Veterans, active-duty military, and reservists get free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The voucher can be redeemed beginning Nov. 13 through Dec. 10 for dine-in only.
Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary Red's Big Tavern Burger for dine-in only, not valid for online or to-go orders. The free meal also comes with an endless side of steak fries.
Active-duty and retired military get a free Garden Bar.
Active and inactive military and veterans get a free Pork or BBQ Chicken plate from Nov 9 through 11. In-store only.
Sheetz offers veterans and active-duty military personnel a free half ham and cheese or meatball sub and a regular-size fountain drink. Sheetz will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active-duty military.
Active-duty military and veterans get a free meal from a select menu for dine-in only.
Active-duty military and veterans get a free smoothie from one of three red, white, and blue smoothies at participating locations.
As with previous years, Starbucks will offer a free tall (12-oz) hot brewed coffee for veterans, military service members, and military spouses on Nov. 11. As a new addition in 2022, Starbucks is expanding this offer to include a free tall (12-oz) iced coffee.
At participating locations, veterans and active-duty military receive a meal voucher on Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These vouchers are good for dine-in or carry-out and can be used until May 30, 2023. There will be a specific menu to select from. Please contact your local Texas Roadhouse for variations in this deal.
Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from a select menu at participating locations for dine-in only.
Active-duty military and veterans get a free breakfast combo at participating locations from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 11.
