FORT COLLINS - Not many kids get their very own army tank to trick-or-treat in, but for six-year-old Jake, his stepdad makes it happen.
Jake Gregory suffered a 'brain bleed' just days after his birth in Denver six years ago. He now lives with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
Because of all this, Jake spends his days in a wheelchair, unable to talk or eat.
His stepdad, Andy, decided that shouldn't stop Jake from having the coolest Halloween costumes ever.
For the last three years he has made it his mission to give his son a huge smile along with an epic costume.
Last year Jake trick-or-treated in his very own fire truck, which his stepdad custom-built, complete with working light, to fit around his wheelchair.
The year before that - his stepson was a pirate aboard a pirate ship.
This year, Jake has a fierce army tank, complete with a cannon that smokes.
His stepdad originally posted the photos on the online forum Reddit.
So even though Jake can't tell his dad just how much he loves his costumes, we're pretty sure his giant smile and 'belly laugh' are all his family needs.
And for next year? His stepdad wrote on Reddit, "We're going to introduce him to Clone Wars soon. Maybe next year will be a Star Wars theme."
