GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 9-foot-long python has found its forever home after being found under a car in Greensboro.
The python, now named Kaa, was officially adopted by his foster on Aug. 7 after no one came forward to claim him.
You may remember, that a Burmese python was "arrested" in early August for preventing a driver from getting into their car.
The Greensboro Police Department (GPD) was called to Battleground Avenue to wrangle the 9-foot-long danger noodle from under the car.
The python was taken into custody by several Guilford County Animal Control and police officers.
"It's definitely the biggest snake call we've had. We get a lot of snake calls. None that are 8 to 10 feet, especially not in a parking lot in front of a business. It was new to us," said Ashley Knox, an Animal Control officer.
We're glad to see it has put its life of "crime" behind it and is living its best life.
