MIDRAND, South Africa — Stop what you're doing because...baby flamingos.
A North Carolina Zookeeper is in South Africa helping hundreds of abandoned baby flamingos.
Jeff Souther is at Lory Park Zoo in Midrand, South Africa, providing around-the-clock care for about 115 flamingo chicks at the location.
The North Carolina Zoo says this is part of a larger rescue effort involving 1,800 flamingo chicks in Kimberley, South Africa.
The chicks were abandoned by their parents after a severe drought.
Can we just hold one, please?
