GREENSBORO, N.C. — When Emily Boyles opened Sunset Slush in the fall she had no idea what was to come. Suddenly she and her husband had to re-think their business model. Now they are "on the road" and with a lot of success. Their slush truck is visiting neighborhoods weekly and greeting the customers that would usually be at their brick and mortar store.
Now, keep in mind their store is still doing curbside service in High Point but Emily says she really enjoys the kids responses when they see the slush cart show up in their neighborhood.
Practicing social distancing is still top priority but she laughs "you can still see those happy faces even from 6 feet away!"
