ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. -- Alamance County Sheriff's Office K9s Dak, Falco, Grim, and Britt protect and serve their community every day.
And now, they can be a little bit safer while doing their jobs - all thanks to non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s which donated four new bullet and stab protective vests to the four-legged officers.
Vested Interest in K9s is based out of Massachusetts and has provided over 1,700 vests for dogs since first being established in 2009.
Dak, Falco, Grim, and Britt now have vests valued between $1,800 and $2,200. But we bet their human deputies would say their safety is priceless.
