GREENSBORO, N.C. — When Chef Kris Reid opened Liberty Oak he knew what he wanted. A fine dining experience with lots of comfort foods and reasonable prices. In his mind he envisioned white table cloths and superior service with an upscale flair. Curbside service was NOT in the dream but now it is a reality. A reality that all restaurants are facing since Governor Cooper banned indoor dining today.
But Reid is stepping up to the challenge offering a convenient online method of ordering take out and having his staff run out to your car to deliver the food and complete the transaction.
Eric Chilton chatted with the owner/chef to get his take on how this virus has transformed local eateries.
