First responders reading bedtime stories

A viral campaign shows the human side to our nation's heroes.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — If you search for "First Responder Reading Challenge" you will be taken to a Facebook campaign that is sweeping the country. First responders are reading children's books as if telling a bedtime story. After they read the story, they challenge another to do the same. Parents all over the country are using these as bedtime stories for their kids showing them that firemen, police officers, and paramedics are, quite frankly, heroes.

Captain Eric Watts with the McLeansville Fire Department brought this to the Triad and he says it is really catching on. Eric Chilton did a sit-down interview with Captain Watts to see how the campaign is doing and what's next.
