GREENSBORO, N.C. — This month, WFMY News 2 is turning 75 and we want to celebrate our viewers who are also turning 75!
First up is Edward! Edward turned 75 last week on August seventh. He has three daughters, five grandkids, and six great-grandkids. His family says this Vietnam veteran is a true man of God. Happy birthday Edward.
Then we have some people celebrating birthdays the same day as WFMY News 2! First up is Susan! She's turning 75 on Sunday the 18th. She was born in North Carolina and moved to New Mexico, Kansas, and New York. She moved back to Greensboro in 1993. Now, she's retired in Kernersville and loving it!
Last but not least is Annette! She also turns 75 on the 18th. She was born right here in Greensboro and remembers watching channel 2 growing up! She remembers watching the Old Rebel and Pecos Pete, Captain Kangaroo and the Good Morning Show before going to school. Happy birthday to you Annette!
