GREENSBORO, N.C. — Last month, WFMY News 2 turned 75 and we want to celebrate our viewers who are also turning 75!
First up is Roberta! Roberta turned 75 Wednesday, September fourth. She has one daughter, four grandkids and her first great-grand on the way! She loves attending church, celebrating with family, and playing cornhole. She's also been an entrepreneur in the cosmetology field for over 38 years. Her family says she loves to host holiday parties, looks flawless and you'd never know she was turning 75. Happy birthday, Roberta.
Happy birthday Betty JoAnn! Today, September 5, is her birthday! She enjoys spending time with family, friends and her cat, Stella. Her favorite pastime is spending time in her backyard sitting at her koi pond.
Happy 75th to Myrtle! She turns 75 on September sixth. Her family says she's the life of any party and doesn't meet a stranger. They describe her as a teddy bear & pit bull rolled into one! Happy birthday myrtle!
Last but not least, happy birthday to Allen. He turns 75 September seventh. Allen grew up in Liberty, but he has also lived in Chicago, New York City and Atlanta. He currently lives in Asheboro. He was active in community theatre and has quite an extensive autograph collection. Allen enjoys reading, watching television and solving crossword puzzles. Happy birthday to Allen and all those turning 75.
