GREENSBORO, N.C. — This year, WFMY News 2 is turning 75 and we want to celebrate our viewers who are also turning 75!
Today, we start with Ada! She turned 75 on June 24th. Her family says she has a heart of gold and has become quite the social butterfly over the years. In the past 5 years, she has served as the president of her neighborhood association, as a board member for the Ragsdale YMCA, member of the NAACP, and successfully started a Little Library in her neighborhood. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, lunch with friends, reading, collecting watches, and catching up on her soap operas. Happy birthday Ada!
Happy birthday Victor! He turned 75 on June 26th. He lives in McLeansville with his wife Sandra. They've been married 52 years and have two daughters, a son-in-law and one grandson. He's a North Carolina A&T alumnus and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He's also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
Happy birthday to Liz! She turns 75 today, June 27! She is mother of 2 and grandmother of 3, and is the oldest of 5 siblings. Liz is the founder of Greensboro's Interactive Resource Center. She also serves on the board of directors of the Mustard Seed Clinic. Her family says she has dedicated her vibrant life thus far to improving our community. Happy birthday to you!
Happy 75th to Charlotte! She turns 75 June 28th! Her family says she brings so much happiness and joy into their lives and her presence in their family is a true blessing. Happy birthday Charlotte!
