GREENSBORO, N.C. — This year, WFMY News 2 is turning 75 and we want to celebrate our viewers who are also turning 75!
We begin with Glenda. She turned 75 on June 16th. She lives in Madison and enjoys spending time with her family, making quilts and sewing baby blankets. Happy birthday Glenda.
Next is Tommy Cook. He also turned 75 on June 16th. Tommy is a retired paramedic and recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine. His wife calls him her bionic man, golf partner and soul mate! Happy 75th Tommy!
Happy birthday David! He turns 75 June 21st. He lives in Madison and his granddaughter says he is the best grandpa and great grandpa! She says he's has spent his entire life doing so much for his family and they love him. Happy birthday to you, David.
Happy 75th to Johnny. He also turns 75 June 21. He and his wife have 2 kids and 7 grandkids whom they're very proud of! Happy birthday Johnny!
There's one more June 21st birthday. Clinton also turns 75 June 21. He and his wife, Ann, live in Greensboro. His daughter wanted to wish him a happy birthday!
Last but not least, happy birthday Timothy Jackson. He turns 75 on June 22nd. He's the retired branch manager of the former East Winston Branch library and director of gospel music at WQMG. Happy birthday Tommy.
