Today we flashback to 1970 and go inside the then-new Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
The hospital opened to replace the Katie Bitting Reynolds Memorial Hospital. The 'Katie B' as it was known, was the first publicly operated facility to treat only African American patients in Winston-Salem.
