Remember Jan. 22, 2016? The Piedmont experienced a snowstorm!
The snow was part of a blizzard that slammed the east coast.
Here in the Triad, areas of the Piedmont got anywhere from 2 to 10 inches of snow! As a result, schools and businesses closed for several days.
The governor issued a State of Emergency and officials warned drivers to stay off the roads. But there were still several crashes, including a few deadly crashes in other parts of the state.
