HIGH POINT, N.C. — As we celebrate WFMY News 2 turning 75 this year, we're opening the WFMY News 2 Vault.
In Monday's vault visit, we go back to 2008 when there was an unusual afternoon at a High Point pizzeria.
"I'm sitting here making a pizza and hear a crash and I turn to my right and look and there's a bus heading towards our front door," the owner said.
The crash happened on North Main Street around 4:30 p.m.
Guilford County Schools said the bus collided with two other cars before ending up in front of 'Jimmy's Pizza House'. No children were on the bus.
The driver, a safety assistant, and a person from one of the other cars went to the hospital. All were expected to be okay.
