Today, we're going back to another snowstorm. This one in 2000 set records.
The surprise snow was one of the most powerful on record in our state. Of course, that meant great sledding weather!
The storm dumped seven inches of snow in Greensboro, 11 inches in Graham, 15 inches in Asheboro, and almost two feet in Raleigh.
People across the state dealt with power outages and messy roads. Schools and businesses closed for several days.
