GREENSBORO, N.C. — One month ago, we experienced a solar eclipse and today's Vault Visit takes us back to 1994 when they were preparing for one of their own!
We spoke with Roger Joyner of the Greensboro Science Center on May 9, the day before the solar eclipse.
He shared tips on ways people could watch, including, of course, wearing eclipse glasses.
The 1994 annular eclipse differed from last month's total eclipse in that it was too far away in its lunar orbit to block all the sun's light from getting to the earth's surface.
So even at its peak, there wasn't total darkness. But what many experienced last month produced total darkness.
