GREENSBORO, N.C. — To celebrate WFMY News 2 turning 75, we are opening the News 2 Vault.
January 17, 2015, was all about ice. Not a snowstorm, but ice inside the Greensboro Coliseum.
The U.S. Figure Skating Championship came to Greensboro!
The competition gave spectators the chance to see Olympic greats and Olympic hopefuls in action.
Of course, turning multiple coliseum surfaces into ice rinks was no easy feat, but, by the end of the championship, fans and skaters had a great experience.
