GREENSBORO, N.C. — This year WFMY News 2 turns 75! 

So to celebrate, we're opening the News 2 vault.

Saturday we're going back to 1990, where they're talking about hot jobs of the '90s!

Take a look at this list.

Hot prospects in the Piedmont included computer operators, food service jobs, daycares, and home care positions.         
           

We found students at Guilford Technical Community College studying to prepare for those analyst and data entry positions. 
           

At the time, employment experts predicted people entering the job market would change jobs 10 times and change careers three times before retirement.

So how about now?
           

What are the top careers of 2024?
           

According to US News and World Report they are nurse practitioner, financial manager, and software developer.
