Vault Visits will take a look back at WFMY history.

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — This year WFMY News 2 turned 75!  So to celebrate, we're opening the WFMY News 2 vault.

On October 9, 2002, WFMY News 2 showed you a new program at the Forsyth County Detention Center.

It was called Houses for Hounds.

Inmates used donated supplies to build dog houses.

It helped them build skills, help others in need, and ease their minds.

Forsyth County Animal Control distributed the dog houses to low-income families in the area.
