June 14, 2007, GTCC leaders discussed plans for a fourth campus.
Officials wanted Guilford County Commissioners to put a 75-million-dollar bond referendum on the November ballot.
They said the money would be used to create a campus to train workers for jobs at FedEx, Hondajet, and other aviation companies.
The bond was approved the following May.
The campus known as the Ceasar Cone II Aviation Building opened in 2014 and serves over 100 students per day.
