You've heard, or seen, chimney sweeps in the movie Mary Poppins.
But December 19, 1979, WFMY News 2 caught some chimney sweepers in action!
Cynthia Tomain and Branda Sanders started their own chimney sweep company.
The top hat and tails are traditional attire for chimney sweeps, so they honored the tradition as they worked.
Tomain and Sanders offered tips that can be used today like never burn your Christmas wrappings or tree in the fireplace--it could cause a chimney fire.
