ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — This year, WFMY News 2 turned 75! So to celebrate, we're opening the WFMY News 2 vault.
December 14, 1991, was a special day for a group of kids in Alamance County.
The Alamance City/County Police Club took two dozen kids shopping.
The group gave each child a hundred-dollar bill and let them loose in the Walmart! The officers served as the kids' personal shoppers and helped them make their choices.
While the kids got to pick out toys, some parents received food to help them over the holidays.
